The Plant Finder even undertakes the importing and exporting of equipment to satisfy the client’s requirements. Our company ethos is not just to meet the client’s requirements and expectations but to exceed them, and this is achieved by fostering a personal working relationship between the client and ourselves. About Shawn

My career started in the Construction Equipment Industry in Port Elizabeth in 1988. Initially involved with the sale and plant hire of “small plant” with a move to an OEM supplier of Earthmoving Equipment in East London 1990/1. The move to the corporate world was short lived but the passion for Earthmoving Equipment had started. We returned to PE in 1991 where I joined a local small plant and equipment business and incorporated some new and used Earthmoving Equipment. In 1995 the desire to deal in Earthmoving Equipment full time became a priority.

In August 1995, I registered S. Michell, The Plant Finder cc and hit the local market offering my services either to procure or to dispose of used equipment. 24 years on and I’m still applying my trade on much the same principle with a wider footprint.
